Do you use galvanized or stainless steel in auto interior?

Can’t find stainless steel staples shorter than 1/4”.

Thanks for any help

Stainless is forever! Galvanized is acceptable for furniture and auto but if you are doing anything that will see moisture stainless is the only thing to use. That includes convertible tops, patio furniture, etc, etc.

If I can get stainless I always use that. But the shorter staples like 5/32 that I use for door panels I dont see often in stainless so I use what is available. That is fine on cars. On boats I always recommend stainless though.
