Never used one! How long to the blades stay sharp?

@John, it is built in with a self sharpening stone. The life of the blade is really long too.

I've been using this one, great for curves and tight areas, will handle 3/8 of fabric. The larger cutters are great for gentle curves and many layers of fabric.
