So two days ago I was watching John's video on Double Stitch Pleats where he shows us his 5/16 template for marking pleat spacing and today I went supply shopping and happened upon what I think may be a game-changing measuring tool.

The Gütermann measuring gauge! It's double-sided so there are 14 possible markings. I'm excited to see how much time I save with this nifty tool! Got it at my local fabric store. Didn't even know it existed.

Thats a great tool! I still havent bought one because Im stuck in my ways of doing things.... Great share. this will help others.
