Hey People,

my name is Sanne im from the Netherlands and im new on the forum so i thought i wil introduce myself!
im 32 years old and in normal life im a construction worker and mechanic.
last year i bought an old durkopp 239/125 after watching a ton of upholstery video´s i thought yeah this is what i want.
i have started the video course whit the lucky needle and also bought a new Global sewing machine two weeks ago they deliverd it last week.
at the moment im busy whit my two smal shops at home one in the garden in my shad im making it bigger for metal work and one upstairs where my sewing machines are!
i hope in the futere when im better whit upholstery i can make my owne furniture whit an online webshop for sell but also do custom projects so lets see how everything whil turn out.

i wil putt some pictures off my workplaces, my new global sewing machine and some practise peaces where im learning on!

for now i have no projects ready first make my work places ready for use. after that im going to make furniture like seats and other kind of furniture for my website when the qualitie is high anough for sale.
i ve got a project for the future for a friend of mine making pillows for a boat and makin new seats for his ford F250 so good jobs for the future to start whit.
main deale whil be basic custom furniture for my website looking how customars will react en buy and custom projects.
now i have not much room to do a full car i have no garage but looking for that but prices these these in the Netherlands are really expensive so i need anough work to so .
we will look how things are going and ajust everything about that

i have bought a global wf 3955 DD direct drive.
really easy machine to use its a stap servo motor so the needle stops always down and if you use the break the needle goes up .
the machine has an oil pump so you dont need to oil the parts some red painted parts to oil some times but not alot of maintenes for oiling the machine.

for my durkopp adler 239/125 is an servo motor on its way for an upgrade so lets see how its seewing whit the uprade.

I just watched several videos on your machine. Looks to be a decent machine with some nice features. I liked the push button reverse and the guide that pulls down.

thank you i will do love the stap feature and the brake needle moving up feature it makes it really easy to use.
only have to figure out how to put the food more op for when im using thicker foam etc
yesterday i was whit a good friend of mine and i have my first big project for the furure doing the upholstery on his old Ford F250 pick up truck! already really excited but for now a lot more practise peaces!

today i dit some corner practising on the Global whit the lucky needle course aside me! going very well!
for the future i have already a project for an old ford F250 pick up truck for a friend of mine, that will be my first real project and also a golf GTI for a friend of mine! furst do some custom projects for myself to do practise and learn a lot more.
for now some pictures from practise and also my mistake :joy:
