Does anyone have an update on the "air bag" issue? Now even old cars have air bags.

@MalcolmM All I can say is that I will never touch the seam and have done insert replacements for friends who are well aware the calibration of the seat on the cushion will be altered. I in no way would do any airbag seam sewing.

i repaired a seat that an airbag blew apart. sewed it back up by hand using thinner thread, but the thing is the man already cut the airbag out. damage was already done.

If the airbag was cut out then no liabilty issues and I would do the same.
