I am just wondering what the real big differences are between these machines other than a stitch length dial.

563 has a larger U bobbin and is a vertical hook (top load). 1541S uses side load M bobbin. Both have their advantages and both killer machines. U bobbins are really nice but horizontal hook machines seem to be less fussy about holding your threads on take off.

@Adam12 , sent my juki to the Adler dealer and they tuned it. It is ready to go a brand new really 563. I am going to be curious to try this as I really like the Adler how it sews.

@BigRig have to agree, my Adler 267 is the only machine i have that isn't for sale. A well tuned 563 will give it a run though
