Door panel for a 33 Ford Coupe. Peanut Butter Pie leather from the Hide Store (discontinued). Achieved by cutting a v-groove in 1/4" closed cell foam glued to canvas (muslin would not have held up to the razor). Glued leather on. Stitched in groove with 177 thread on top and 92 in the bobbin. peeled back the leather from the foam, sanded the foam, glued foam to panel board, glue leather to foam and then did the edges. He needed extra clearance at the bottom for the floor carpeting so the bottom does not foam, just sandwiched the clips between a second piece of panel board so there were no lumps.

Maybe 3 hrs minus waiting for glue to dry, my panic attacks about the wrinkles and all the mock ups to decide how to do it. Going to do the other one today and keep track.
