I have a 1959 Plymouth - the headliner consists of three panels that run front to back, separated by two bows. The panels are held in place with the trim at front, back and the sides; and, with retainer strips that snap onto the bows.

Here is a pic of the cross section of the retainer:

The gap between the clip is about 1/4"; there may be some tolerance in what works. The strips are approximately 63" long.

The retainer shown here is actually from a Dodge Caravan! It's no longer available; needless to say, I don't need original, I just need something that works; I don't care if it's for a Chevy or a Ford. Any recommendations for things I could try?
