Hello everyone
Looking for input and info
I was asked to make side panels for a customer,
He already has a Bimini, I made him a California dodger and connecting panel, now he wants to close it all up.
Here are the problems I am faced with.
His Bimini’s frame is a tower in a box kit that he got for solar panels and modified for a Bimini, so pretty much a mess to work with as the frame is protruding from the Bimini, so creative thinking needed (I pretty much figured out that part but still open to suggestions)
Now how do you all recommend I do the bottom edges of the panels for ease of installation?
I am afraid that snaps on the outside will be thought to snap for him.
He wants 3 layers
Screen, Plastic window and privacy panels on all sides.

The windows I am thinking should open from the top down to be able to adjust the window opening.

I am thinking full screen and windows, or should I make the windows smaller?
For the privacy panels, just roll them to the top? Or any other suggestions?

Thank you all in advance

Pictures would help. Not sure about the "tower in a box" thing but the frame needs to be sturdy enough to support the extra weight. Snap it from the outside, that is the industry standard no sense re-inventing the wheel. Sounds difficult enough as it is plus i figure the snaps are probably already on the boat. Panels will need screen on the outside, clear zip up window in the middle and privacy panel the innermost should be large enough to cover them. This allows full access and function from inside the boat. Privacy panel doesn't necessarily need to be a permanent fixture, could be snapped on or fastned with velcro and made completely removable. Otherwise, yes, put roll up straps to keep it up out of the way.

Ok, thank you

The boat does not have snaps already in place, he never had an enclosure, so it’s virgin territory
I will try to add pictures soon, just not sure how to do it

You could go with Common Sense fasteners possibly, there more expensive and time consuming to instal but they may work in your situation
