In the Door Panel YouTube Video, you talk about using "Basking Tape"- I went to Joann's today and bought the clear Vinyl, but they didn't know about it-I where canI get it?

I’m not familiar with that video but are you talking about basting tape? It’s just a double sided tape any fabric supplier should have.

Yep its called Basting Tape. Really handy for a lot of things.

Any suggestions on other uses for basting tape John? I know seam sewing can be easier with basting tape but you have to be careful in your placement of the tape before sewing.

I have seen basting tape used many different ways but for automotive upholstery I typically only use it for patterning. I feel that it is better to learn to sew your seams with out basting tape.
