I picked up a White Model 900 machine and in general it works very well. The only problem is I need to adjust the Upper thread tension regulator. I have increased the bobbin thread tension and even with the upper knob turned to 0 it is too much for a not especially light weight fabric. I have a singer 403a and have completely dismantled and restored it so once I get the knob off I am fairly confident I can make the adjustment but I can’t figure out how to get it off. Any ideas? On most industrial machines you just unscrew it counter clockwise. But Im not sure about this machine.
