I’m in the market for an H3 or H4. This machine will solely be used automotive interiors (carpet, leather and canvas)

What are the differences? Recommendations? Thoughts? Is the H3 with its beefed up support, overkill?

Thanks!

Thank you trimmer2.

What is the purpose of the bracket on the top of the H3? I believe this is one of the mechanical differences between the H3 and H4.

My situation is that I work in a shop that has an H4 but is looking to invest in a second, back up machine, so we are trying to figure out which would be a better purchase for or circumstances. Our shop is a restoration shop.

Thanks again!

That is adjustment for foot pressure There is a knurled knob to the right that adjusts It does what the knob on the left up top does on the h4 (if that makes any sense) I would go with the H4

I would say either one would be good if its a good deal. The h4 would be better if you have the option.
