I am recovering the bench seat of a 1984 Nissan Pickup. The owner wants all Vinyl instead of fabric/vinyl that it came with. It has been suggested that I use vented vinyl on the seat area to allow for breathing when they get in and out. The perforated vinyl is more expensive and if I am using scrim won’t that interfere with the air flow that the perforation is supposed to allow? Thank you in advance for any information you all can share.

Scrim wont interfere with air flow, it will probably help. I also dont believe pref vinyl will provide a noticeable difference in cooling or breathing.
