Greetings,

I will be starting another marine upholstery project soon and am currently researching colors/patterns and suppliers of exterior rated vinyl. I probably will be changing the color pattern a bit. The material the I am replacing is Spradling brand and I am looking to use the Omnova Brands - Nautlex/Boltaflex as much as possible.

I am finding it difficult to source some of these vinyls - both Spradling and Omnova brands - at a retail level. Many of the online resources are wholesale level suppliers with minimum order quantities, etc. My previous marine upholstery project was Morbern brand vinyl and sourced through Sailrite, which caters to retail level customers. I'd really like to use Nautolex/Boltaflex as much as possible.

Just wondering if the members here who do small jobs have found good retail-type suppliers for automotive/marine vinyl of the mentioned brands

I feel like i remember seeing boltaflex on rochford supply's website. Also pretty sure albright's supply has spradling. We pretty well use Trivantage and Ennis for everything, you do have to set up an account but no minimum order quantities on upholstery vinyl that i know of. Sailrite is a good resource but they are rarely the cheapest option.

What specifically are you looking for in the Omnava line up or spradling. Omnova is my favorite for the patern selection but for wear an durability Spradling. Let me know maybe send a PM

Within Omnova it is the Colorguard, Capitano, Elysee, Weave, and Cetacea styles

For Spradling, it is Simtex and Beluga styles

Albright's supply is my top choice for online suppliers. Their prices are pretty much the same as my wholesale accounts.

Some other options I like are:
-Perfect Fit upholstery supply
- Rochford Supply
- Miami Corp
- Relicate ( for thread and leather)

Between those 5 they should have everything you need. I dont recommend Sailrite unless you can not get it anywhere else because their products are overpriced.

In some cases Albrights has been far less for materials and supplies than my wholesale accounts. The same goes for BryTech and Perfect Fit I like them all.
