I have almost completed my first project but upon reassembling the chair, I made hole in my fabric. I was hitting a bolt that was underneath the fabric and well I didn’t really think what would happen if I did that. Anyways I am looking for the best way to fix it (result is important). Is the best way to use fabric glue?

Great video Malcolm! Yeah that about the only way I can imagine to fix it with out seeing the repair.
You might also be able to do a blind stitch repair

search for blind stitching. Have used upholstery repair kits in the past but they're hit and miss
