My backrests are not sitting on the cushion as the should it’s about a inch different lookin at how they were they sat right on top of each other before I disassembled, what can I do to make them sit flush

cant really tell is the material thicker, did reupholster them in the second pic

@SideShowBobby , you may want to let the hog rings off in the bottom of the backrest cover and the cushion. It is probable you have sucked the fabric up too tight.

Yeah I second that. Can think of anything else that would cause that.
