Hello, I have a 97 jeep Grand Cherokee with a headliner that was poorly redone after water damage. The panel itself is in poor condition thanks to some sort of resin type glue being used previously.
Does anyone either 1) know how to find a new board or 2) how to fabricate a new one?
I can't tell how it's made. It is really odd looking, but I assume some it's some sort of resin based mold, it kind reminds me of OSB in a way.
To fabricate a new one, should I use the old one as a form and fiberglass it? That seems like the answer but the end product as fiberglass seems like it would be very difficult to install- so I doubt that's the best way.
Thank you for sharing your know-how!
