So I finally got the materials for the next project on the list.

I'll be redoing the headliners in both my fathers and my daughters Town and Country minivans. Both vans are identical so it made getting the material pretty straight forward.

I've got the Harbor Freight spray gun John linked in his vid (or maybe it was a post) and Weldwood contact adhesive.

My question is, what do you guys set your air pressure to for spraying the glue? I've only ever sprayed really thinned out paint from an HVLP gun before.

I Think mine was 70 . I believe the spray can has a setting written on it. I adjusted as needed.

Really? I wouldn't have thought it was that high.

To be honest, I bought the gun while bag and have yet to do anything with it least of all read the instructions.

I shoot the landau glue at 45psi. That's about the only glue that I use. If I use the contact gue I mostly use a brush for edges as on door panels and such.

I run 10psi on the pot and 20psi on the gun, but everything has to be clean and fresh for these settings to work. If you let the glue age in the line it does not work, and you get the equivalent of snot being coming out of the gun instead of a spray.

Is your gun separate from the pot?

My gun the pot is connected directly under the gun. I don't think there is a way to give them separate air pressure settings.

Yes. I found a quart size pot that I use.
