@WILD BILL The motorcycle seat it was my first, I didn't use the old pattern. I covered half of it with maskin tape then drew out my pattern from that.
when I was stapling it together I didn't use glue, maybe I should have , although it was tight. it had a pocket that was not secured to the foam in the center of the seat, it probably bothered me more than the customer.
Any suggestions for future seats? How do ya go about doing it?
The consoles and four wheeler seats and side by sides , are getting to be the most common thing I do.

I've only done the one and so may or may not be the best way.
I used my steamer to soften and push the material down into the butt area of the seat. Steam, massage, cool, Check, and repeat until I was happy.
It was actually the first time I had used the steamer and boy did it justify it's cost right then and there.
