Hi,

I am new to upholstery and looking for some consumables but cannot find them anywhere!
I'm replacing an old seat and was looking for that seam to look the material in place with the hogrings but can't find them anywhere. I have seen in original seats some come in iron and others in plastic that would be sewed in joints.

I have also seen in a Camaro a Velcro...

Do you know where I can find those consumables?

I just did a seat like this one The seat had hook and loop, velcro. The foam had the hook piece molded into it, the seat top had the loop, loop is the fuzzy side. I have to stitch the loop to the seams of the new top. It wasn't a stick on type either, it had to be stitched on. I'm sure stick on would work for holding it in place, but it wouldn't work on it's own.

@BigRig i use to make my own also cause I figured it wasn’t sure the money to buy this really. For for how much you get on a roll for such a little amount of money. It was worth it. I just adjust where I see in it to make it shorter or longer per project. Depending on how tight I want the cover to be, if that makes sense.

@BigRig I'm glad you understood what I even wrote. I really need to learn to spell check with my fat fingers. But tell who ever you get it from I’ll take my sales commission anytime lol.
