Where is everyone getting oil for their machines? I'm having a hard time finding No.7 oil that my Juki is calling for. There may be a substitute out there for No.7 I just don't want to "mix" different oil types. I can find Juki No.1 oil all day long but No.7 seems to be a bit scarce.

I’ve always just used what is called white oil. Works well in both the juki I once owned and now my consew. Most upholstery supply places will have it.

This is what I use for my juki 1541s machine. Just white oil for all these types of machines. Also white oil won’t stain your materials since it’s clear. I’m sure other oils will work.

Appreciate the info everyone. We are fixing to start in on a complete custom interior on a 84 model 359 Peterbilt. Have to make sure everything is ready to go and we were getting short on oil.

I spray underside of my machine with motokote aerosol from time to time seems to run smoother and quieter afterwards.

For all older machines I just use generic sewing machine oil found at most supply stores. If I have a brand new machine I try to use the manufacture specified oil if available.
