Hello! I love the education on pneumatic guns but I'm not sure which is okay and which staple,brad and nail size guns are recommended for effective work.

@BigRig has a different brand he uses and likes. Its a little less expensive. What one do you have BigRig??

Most upholstery staple guns take 3/8inch crown staples. The lengths come in 1/8 to 1/2 inch. Length depends on your project.
Use stainless staples for anything outdoors and regular staples for anything in doors.
I recommend getting a small air regulator that you can install on the gun so that you can quickly adjust the pressure. Air pressure sets the depth of the staple and will change depending on what your putting staples in to. You want the face of the staple to sit flush with the fabric. If its deeper than that it might be cutting the fabric. If it sticks up higher its only holding the fabric by the 2 small legs of the staples.

I have the Fasco, easy to identify in the tool when searcing your supplier it is baby blue. I am shooting 71 series Upholstery Staples out of it 3/8 of an inch and it is performing amazing with even 50 psi from my compressor.

I use an 80 series, 1/2" crown, leg depends on what I'm doing. Boat trailer bunks, 9/16 seats, 3/8"

Darn! There are a lot of people doing boats! No water here so really no boats. People with boats either play in man made lake or drive for to go to a natural lake.

It does but it is so short like, only a matter of weeks that it is enjoyable. Otherwise it gets cool going into the fall then the cold just starts! I have been a lot of places and my all time favorite has been California.
