Are any of you guys set up for taking payments via card?
If so, could you share what you're using and why and how satisfied you are with it.
Been going down the rabbit of Google searching the subject and it just kinda feels a little overwhelming.

I see quite a few folds using phones to accept credit card payments. I took cards when I had my cycle shop and it was no big deal, but that was with a machine. Someone came in and set it up. They make card readers for phones, I see them at flee markets and swap meets. I refused to take American as their rates were too high for me.

Forget it unless your high volume you have to either lose $ or charge the customer more. Keep it simple

True , you have to charge a little more to cover the cost. When I have a set down with customers. I’ll let them use their credit card to order material on my acct. then I delete there info once order is complete.
But that’s about as far as I go with credit cards.

I use Quick Books, it allows me to invoice and run the business book keeping for tax purposes, it works ok but there’s a monthly fee ($25.00 ish) as well as they take 3% off every transaction. In the past I used Square Space but they jerked me around.
