Hi all, I have a car that I love but I would get thigh pain if I was in the car for more than a half hour.

That would be Piping or Welting.
Best way to remove it is to rip the stitches, take it out and resew the 2 panels together without it.

Thank you! I was hoping it would be that simple but wasn't sure if there was anything else I should be aware of.

Be sure you add line up marks before you take stitches out. It may have marks or little notches.

Thanks, forgive my ignorance but can you enlighten me as to what "line up marks" are?

Typically little notches cut into the seam allowance on both pieces of fabric that you match up when sewing so that your pieces fit the way you want when your done.
