Looking for type of fabric used to cover dashboards

I have seen many videos of upholstery shops covering dashboards with some kind of fabric. One person said they used Flexa vinyl. I have never heard of that. Does anybody know what they use that will stretch 4 ways in order to be able to mold it around curves and such? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Its more than just a 04 way stretch it is a 06 way stretch without a fabric backing. I do not think you will find it anywhere unless you were putting it out there that you want a 30 meter roll.

The only Flexa vinyl I'm aware of is the house brand of marinevinylfabric.com
Not a bad material but defiantly not premium either. Much cheaper then most others out there. Defiantly not a 4 way stretch.
I would plan on steaming and heating to get any material to conform to a dash and look good.

I think he is looking at the vacuform way. I think that is just going to be a nightmare for this guy trying to do this and have it adhere to the dash.
